Avril Lavigne is a Canadian singer , song-writer, actress,fashion designer, model and guitarist born in Belleville ,Ontario ,Canada on September ,2, 1984 to Franco-Canadian Christian conservative parents John and Judy Lavigne . She grew up in Napanee, where she first began to sing country music and in church choir .It was Cliff Fabri , her first professional manager , who discovered her while singing country covers at a Chapters bookstore in Kingston, Ontario.
Her first album “Let go” ,released on June ,2002 by Arista Records ,was definitely a succes ,becoming quickly the best-selling album by a female artist that year , number two in United States and number one in Australia , United Kingdom and Canada  .It was certified with four times platinum by the RIAA . Also, a succes was her first World Tour “Try to shut me up” ,which took place in 2003. Lavigne  quickly rose to teen idol status ,  selling several million copies of her debut album ” Let Go.”

Her second and third albums”Under my skin” (2004, 8 million copies sold)and “The best damn thing”(2007,more than 5 million copies), reached number one on the U.S
